👟 Step up for clean shores: Fogland Plog at Fogland Beach. Jog, stroll, or strut while cleaning up. No sign-up, just show up and grab a bag.
🐝 Learn to garden for bees: Pollinator Habitat Workshop at Spruce Acres Farm, Middletown. Learn to support bees and butterflies. Hands-on tips, native plants, and fresh air. Free and beginner-friendly.
🪵 Create a mushroom log: Making Mushroom Logs at WRWC. Learn the basics of mushroom cultivation and take home your own inoculated log. Tools and materials included.
🌳 Explore local trees together: Family Arbor Day Tree Trek at Blithewold in Bristol. Family-friendly walk with tree ID scavenger hunt and leaf art. Materials provided. Free for kids under 6.

☕ Drink for a cause this April: White Electric x ONA Solidarity. 10% of spring drink proceeds go to Olneyville Neighborhood Association. Seasonal menu includes Strawberry Thumbprint and Tiramisu Lattes.
🌎 2025 Earth Day Cleanup Volunteers gather April 26 2025, 10:00–12:00 at Stillhouse Cove & Pawtuxet Park for a community cleanup. Tasks include litter, debris, and invasive plant removal along shoreline and trails. Sign up via the provided Google Form to reserve your spot. After the clean up, you are perfectly positioned to enjoy lunch in the village with a lot of options like bagels, burgers, pizza, ice cream, and more.

🧸 Drop in for Saturday play: Open Play at FUNdamentals in Riverside runs Saturdays 9AM–2PM. Safe indoor space for kids to explore and socialize. $15 per child, no pre-registration needed.

Rhody Moments
Double Rainbow All The Way over Garden City in Cranston. A rare double rainbow lit up the evening. Proof that sometimes, the sky does put on a show. Lots of people caught this and posted images, but this shot is one of the better ones.
Tweety Birds jamming with the orchestra? “Collab with the unofficial bird choir”. This has some serious Rhode Island and Looney Tunes vibes, unintentionally beautiful and funny at the same time, down at the Norman Bird Sanctuary!
Take nothing for granite. Quarry Blast Sends Rocks Flying, Damaging Homes in Westerly on Ashaway Road, Westerly. Scheduled quarry blast launched rocks into homes. No injuries, but damage reported. Town investigates; residents demand answers.
