Wicked Li’l Trivia

Last week’s trivia answer: “Illegal to throw pickle juice on a trolley”. Rhode Island's legal landscape allegedly includes several offbeat laws, such as the prohibition on throwing pickle juice on a trolley, a law anecdotally rooted in its historical trolley systems. However, evidence of this law is hard to come by, but the online version of this rumor goes back at least 20 years. Is it a law or not? In folklore, yes. In the statutes, we haven’t gotten a definitive “no” quite yet!
